Who is River?
River is a British Shorthair cat and the real boss of Approved By River. He's curious, stubborn and rather demanding, with very strong opinions about how things should be done.
Like any self-respecting cat, River appreciates quality, comfort and good materials. Naturally, everything new must pass his inspection first. Some things earn his approval straight away, while others require a little more consideration.
River's personality inspired our name, Approved By River. It also perfectly reflects how we choose our products. We don't want to offer everything we could possibly sell. We want to select pieces that make us say: yes, this deserves a chance.
River, of course, takes his responsibilities very seriously.
His duties include inspecting packages, supervising our work and occasionally just sitting there, watching everything with a highly critical expression.
